My Stylistpick bargains!

Hi everyone! I kind of disappeared this week as I decided I needed to focus on my school work a little more, however my AMAZING ankle boots from Stylistpick arrived this week so I decided I just had to make a post :).

Some people hate the winter because it means loads of layering and baggy clothes, so I wanted to show that you can wrap up for winter but still look classy at the same time. I think mac coats and ankle boots are a great combination for this. Mac coats are mostly always fitted so we can still show off our feminine figures for the winter and ankle boots help lengthen the leg and make them look  elegant. My chelsea ankle boots from Stylistpick (which were an absolute bargain £20 guys!) are gorgeous. As you can see they have a kind of suede texture and because they are black I personally think they can be worn as a casual boot and a going out boot (double bonus).

Stylistpick also do great bags, I've bought a few from there now and I'd defiantly recommend taking a look on the site as it's very trustworthy and a respectful company. I thought adding the blue tote bag would be a nice pop of colour for this look, as just because it's autumn/winter I don't think we all have to go completely dark and shady with colours :) xoxox

Perfect party prep!

I'm currently looking for a Christmas party dress, because for my next fashion column which I'm writing for the 'Young Citizen' I want to talk about party dresses for the 'festive season' (check my work out here). So I found this dress on the RI site and it's only £30 can you believe it! It's a perfect little piece, with its gorgeous cut and embellished detail it looks classy and sophisticated - everything you need in a perfect party dress!

Prices are at the bottom hope you like the outfit, let me know on your thoughts xoxox

That autumn feeling

I'm really loving the autumn feeling at the minute, snugly jumpers, pretty coats, hats - it's pretty great! To celebrate my little 'autumn festiveness' I wanted to share my recent bargains (with a capital 'b' but I'm not sharing prices here so scroll to the bottom trust me you wont be disappointed).

I'm a huge fan of big jumpers being tucked into fitted skirts at the minute, there's been so many in my magazines at the moment from the catwalks so yes I thought I'd basically copy, while adding a fresh little mac coat, jeweled necklace and suede low cut ankle boots :). I really love this little piece, hope you guys do too and are loving the autumn!

(Scroll to the bottom for prices guys!) xoxox

How I wear my checked shirt #3

Evening everyone! So this is my last 'how I wear my checked shirt' post, I hope you have liked them (if you have been checking them).

For this outfit with the checked shirt I wanted to make it a bit more girly, as I'm kind of 99.5% girly. So I found this Boohoo dress which I haven't worn in aages and thought putting the shirt underneath it would be really nice and add a touch of femininity to the shirt (as after all it is a boys shirt don't forget guys!). To be honest I really like the idea of the shirt under the dress and personally think it looks really nice, so I defiantly think I'll be doing a bit more shirt and dress matching! I added the clutch and the heels just for the purpose that I was trying to make the outfit more lady like, rather than 'rock-on lets jump on my motorbike' like my last post.

I hope you have liked my 3 different posts of 'how I wear my checked shirt' I'll try do some more like this in the future. Let me know which of the 3 looks was your favourite 1,2 or 3! :) xoxox

How I wear my checked shirt #2

Yo! So this is my second post of 'how I wear my checked shirt' (I hope you all liked the first one). With this checked shirt idea I wanted to try and do 3 different looks so that theres one that is maybe more to your taste.

I think the kind of rock look is one which you can always pull off with a checked shirt, which is why I've teamed the shirt with leather leggings and a leather jacket. Leather + checked = your rocking. This isn't the kind of outfit I'd actually go for as personally I'm quite girly, but after me and my little sis finished taking photos I decided I do actually quite like this look, it's quite cool.

So I hope you guys like this look and are overall enjoying the 'how I wear my checked shirt' posts (prices are included at the bottom). Keep a look out for my third and final checked shirt post!
Enjoy! xoxox

How I wear my checked shirt #1 : Daytime lover

Hey hey everyone! Hope you all had a good Halloween. So I thought I'd do a little 'how I wear my checked shirt' post just to show you lovely people and to give a few little ideas maybe :).

I really wanted a checked shirt for this autumn so I took a little trip to Primark and I discovered the girl shirts were rubbish. So, I took a little stroll to the mens section and found the shirt below and it is perfect! so much thicker and fluffier.

For this outfit I've kept the casual look. I don't think you can go wrong with a baggy shirt, skinnies and boots for autumn to be quite honest and I thought adding the leopard scarf would be a nice touch to make the checked pattern and the leopard pattern stand out more.

Hope you like it guys, keep watch for my other 'how I wear my checked shirt' posts! xoxo
